About the project
Santander Tower in Miami

Santander Tower to Redefine Miami’s Skyline with Sustainable, High-Performance Design
Santander is set to transform 1401 Brickell Avenue with the construction of a new 41-story, 765-foot-tall tower that will replace the existing 14-story building. Designed by Handel Architects and Bernardi & Peschard Arquitectura, the project will feature 1.6 million square feet of modern office and retail space—half of which is dedicated to Santander employees, with the remainder available for third-party tenants.
The tower’s iconic external diagrid structure will not only create open, column-free floorplates and sweeping bay views, but also enhance energy performance through natural sun shading and a 30% reduction in structural concrete use. Landscaped terraces, wellness amenities, and daycare facilities will further elevate the tenant experience.
Engineered to meet the highest global standards in sustainability, Santander Tower will integrate cutting-edge technologies in security, connectivity, and energy efficiency. Upon completion, it will stand as a flagship office development and one of the most environmentally advanced buildings in the world.
